Serie A and Premier League giants eye Barca's Araujo

While they are focused on solving their Financial Fair Play issues, Barcelona may lose a crucial defender - Ronald Araujo. Even though the Uruguayan's role at Barca was significant under Xavi, his severe hamstring injury forced the new boss, Hansi Flick, to get used to his absence.

Even though Araujo's contract expires in June 2026, Barca's excellent performances without him made the club consider his eventual sale.
