It's clear that Osimhen's move to Turkey was a forced one

From the lights for Paris and the posh parts of London, to the Turkish bazaars. That‘s the footballing path of Victor Osimhen, the Nigerian star and the best Serie A striker two years ago. It seemed at one point that it‘s just a matter of time when he will be sold and that Napoli is in for a big payday, but as of today, he is in the Turkey capital playing for Galatasaray and out of the Champions League. Greed and vain are the main reasons for a total fallout between the Nigerian striker and his former club, who shipped him to Galatasaray when the Top 5 European markets closed their doors for business until January.

Since Al-Ahli tranfser fell due to De Laurentiis‘ greed and Chelsea deal do to Osimhnen‘s big demands, it looked like he would spend the whole season on the bench and the solution was needed. The Turkish clubs have a longer transfer period (until September 13th) and usually pick up players in a situation like this (Zaniolo, Icardi etc). But, Osimhen doesn‘t intend to stay in Istambul for long, and he made sure the Turks know that too.

For starters, the deal he signed with Galatasaray is only a one year loan, with an obligation to pay him his wage from Napoli in full (11 million euros), but he aslo managed to insert a strange clause. According to Turkish outlet A Spor, Osimhen has asked for a break clause in his contract which applies to a total of 10 specific clubs. If any of the unnamed teams submit an offer in January, he will therefore have permission to leave. The outlet also claim that Osimhen has asked that his release clause be reduced from 109million to 63 million pounds, as he looks to engineer a permanent move. Considering that Galatasary would be in no condition to even get Osimhen if it wasn‘t for this situation between him and Napoli, both clubs agreed to this request, hoping that no club will come for the Nigerian in January with 63 million in their pockets. But Osimhen is hoping.
