Sofapaka talisman Juma among five players suspended ahead of matchday 26

Five players from four FKFPL clubs are set to miss their respective matches for their clubs this weekend following their suspension.

Four players will be serving their one-game suspension after accumulating five yellow cards while one will be serving his second game suspension following an earlier red card.

Sofapaka is the most affected team and will miss their top score Lawrence Juma and Kevin Omondi who will be serving his second match suspended following his red card against Vihiga United.

Gor Mahia will be without defender Geoffrey Ochieng' who has been an important player for K'Ogalo this season will not be available.

This comes at a time when the defending Champions will be missing up to 7 key players in their clash against Nairobi City Stars on Saturday on top of the departure of their tactician Vaz Pinto.

Hashim Sempala will be absent as Tusker FC face-off with AFC Leopards after picking his fifth booking for the season in the draw against KCB at Thika Stadium on Sunday while KCB will be without Vincent Wasambo against Wazito at Thika on Saturday.

From the same disciplinary perspective, 12 players risk missing on matchday 27 if they get booked this weekend.

Sofapaka duo of Ambrose Sifuna and David Nshimirimana is on four yellow cards, same as Nairobi City Stars' pair of Anthony Kimani and Erick Ombija.

Tusker FC, Kakamega Homeboyz, Kariobangi Sharks, KCB, Posta Rangers, Ulinzi Stars, Vihiga United, and Western Stima all have one player on four yellow cards.

Shapan Oyugi, Moses Mudavadi, Benard Ongoma, Clinton Bulimo, Dennis Wafula, Kevin Monyi, Benard Ondiek, and David Owino are one booking away from suspension.

Mathare United already missed the services of Khalid Jumaan when they went down 1-0 to Bidco United in a rescheduled fixture as he was also suspended for being booked five times.
