One of the notable names in the 28-name squad of the Dutch U-17 squad, which is about to engage in the EURO qualifiers, is Shaqueel van Persie, the son of Netherlands all-time top scorer Robin. The promising Feyenoord striker has been in great form this season, and he was rightfully handed his first call-up to an Oranje squad.

Van Persie also started his career at Feyenoord, at the youth team and professional level, playing over 50 times for the first team.
The forward then went on to spend eight glorious years at Arsenal before joining Manchester United.
