Fares highlighted Osama’s qualities, describing him as a direct and fearless attacker capable of adapting quickly to European football.
“Paul is a fast and technical winger who can play on both flanks. He has good drive and courage in one-on-one situations.
We see great potential in him and hope he can contribute immediately and develop further over time,” said Fares in an interview with the club website.
The Swedish third-tier side secured Osama’s signature from Murang’a Seal after the 19-year-old enjoyed a breakout FKF Premier League campaign, where he emerged as one of the most exciting young attacking prospects.
His move follows interest from clubs in Sweden, Belgium and Norway, with Enköpings ultimately winning the race for his signature. Murang’a Seal CEO Josh Mwangi praised the winger’s contribution, noting his importance to the team.
“He has been very instrumental for our team this season. He has featured in nearly all of our games, and I believe he will go on to be a highly successful player,” Mwangi said.
Osama only joined Seal at the start of the 2025/26 season from National Super League (NSL) side Mombasa United, but quickly established himself as a key figure.
In his maiden top-flight season, he scored three goals and registered three assists, with notable strikes coming against KCB FC, Bidco United and Sofapaka FC.
His final appearance came in a 1-1 draw against Mathare United, capping off a short but impressive stint at the club.
The forward, son of former Kenya international Godfrey Osama, is now expected to travel to Sweden and could make his debut against Stocksund IF on Saturday, 4 April.
At Enköpings SK, Osama will link up with Kenya U20 midfielder Andreas Odhiambo, who remains the only other Kenyan currently at the club following recent departures of Stanley Wilson, who returned to AIK and Irad Mshindi, who moved to Latvia.
FKF deputy president McDonald Mariga and former Kenya international Jamal Mohammed were also in the books of the Swedish third-tier club during their early active years.
