Talanta train eyes on NSL summit

Four second tier matches lined up for Sunday

FC Talanta will be gunning to return to the summit of the National Super League when they face Modern Coast Rangers at the Gems Cambridge grounds.

Talanta who have two matches at hand have drifted to third with 41 points, two shy of league toppers Kenya Police who were earlier scheduled to play Kisumu All Stars in their next match before it was postponed. 

However, Ken Kenyatta's boys have an opportunity to scale back to the apex should they down the visitors who are ranked 16th with twenty eight points.

Similarly, Kibera Black Stars will be targeting to rise to the top when they take on Murang'a Seal at the St.Sebastian Park.

Kibera who will miss Ronald Okello who is suspended for a red card offence sit second with 42 points while Seal are eleventh with thirty points.

Relegation threatened Coast Stima will host debutants Mwatate United at the Mbaraki grounds. Stima have sunk into the red zone as they are second from bottom with 25 points while Mwatate are ranked tenth with 34 points. 

Fortune Sacco will be without the dependable Brian Mandela when they accost a resurgent Mt. Kenya United at the Kianyaga grounds.Mandela will sit out of the match for accumulating five yellow cards.

Fortune are sixth with thirty five points while the former top flight side sit third from bottom with twenty six points.
