The former Vihiga Queens forward netted 17 goals which was enough for her to bag the Golden Boot award.

Four days after ripping up her contract with four-time Kenyan Women Premier League Champions Vihiga Queens, Topister Situma has sealed a move to Tanzanian giants Simba Queens.

The forward is coming off a remarkable season where she finished as the Kenya Women Premier League’s (KWPL) top scorer with 17 goals as Vihiga Queens won their fourth title.

Her exploits in the league saw Vihiga clinch the title unbeaten as they drew only three games all season, emerging victorious in 19 as they won the title by a massive 17-point advantage.

Simba however failed to disclose the full details of the contract such as the length of the contract as she was signed on the Bosman rule having been a free agent.

Topister becomes the fourth signing at the four-time league champions after Zainabu Mohamed, Ibinabo Alex from Nigeria, and Ghanian Philomena Abakah.

Simba are beefing up their squad ahead of the CECAFA region 2022 CAF Women’s Champions League qualifiers that will take place from 28 July to 10 August in Arusha, Tanzania.

Topister has been a long-serving lieutenant at Vihiga having joined the club back in 2014 as she clinched the four times with the club.
