Ten years later, he's back home - ready to put Barca back on the throne

Signed, sealed and announced. Dani Olmo is back home, where it all started for the 26-year-old midfielder years ago.

The Spanish international has everything necessary to play an important role in the shirt of the Catalan giants and I guess he will show it.

Olmo was finally unveiled on Friday as the first major signing for the club managed by Joan Laporta.

According to El Mundo Deportivo, Barcelona transferred €47m to RB Leipzig, while the rest of the money - in order to reach the demanded €60m - will be paid as a bonus if Dani plays 60 percent of the games and Catalans win a trophy with him in the squad.

The contract was signed until June 2030, and the Blaugrana immediately protected their rights over the player by setting a buyout clause of €500m.

After the triumph with the Spanish national team at the recent European Championship, two German Cups and one Supercup, Olmo should be a major reinforcement for the young Barcelona team.
