Thank you, you sweet traitor! Calhanoglu has done his share, and now it's AC Milan's call

Juve's home loss to Inter had removed them from the title chase, but Rossoneri ought to win in the last fixture of this Serie A round to keep their hopes alive

Once he left them as a free agent to join their much-hated city rivals, Hakan Calhanoglu became persona non grata at San Siro. To put it mildly.

But after his retaken penalty on Sunday night tarnished Juventus' title hopes, the Turkish playmaker might become slightly more welcomed and respected among the Rossoneri fanbase.

What they need to feel the full enjoyment of such developments is to win at home against Bologna in the ultimate match of the Serie A round 31. They'll level with Napoli at the top of the log with 66 points with another three points on their account.

On the other hand, Bologna have suffered two defeats in a row, and are slowly sliding towards the bottom of the table. Tradition is not on their side, either. Bologna haven't felt the taste of victory against Milan in the last 12 games.

Moreover, their coach Sinisa Mihajlovic, who has been battling leukaemia since 2019, announced that he would be hospitalized again due to a risk of a relapse.

"My remission after the transplant (of bone marrow in October 2019) was great, but unfortunately, these diseases are sneaky," the 53-year-old told a press conference before being admitted to the Sant'Orsola Hospital in Bologna.
