Goncalo Ramos joins PSG on an initial loan
Portuguese striker Goncalo Ramos joined PSG from Benfica on an initial season-long loan ahead of an $88 million permanent transfer. It's not that the Parisians aren't sure if they want the lethal striker in their team, but they weren't allowed to splash the cash now due to financial fair-play regulations. That's why the $72 million payment will be made to Benfica in 12 months, and another $16 million could follow in add-ons.

The 22-year-old attacker arrived at Parc des Princes with the blessing of PSG's legendary Portuguese captain Pedro Pauleta, who himself was a fantastic striker of the old kin.
Ramos burst onto the scene in the Portuguese championship and quickly became one of the staples of his club and country. He was arguably the best Portugal player in last year's World Cup in Qatar too. The striker retweeted many tweets announcing his arrival to the Ligue 1 champions.
"It's a proud and happy day to join Paris Saint-Germain. It's one of the biggest clubs in the world with amazing players."
Ramos finished the 2022/23 season with 27 goals and 12 assists in 47 appearances for the Lisbon club.
Despite several failures in its search for a new number 9, Harry Kane or Victor Osimhen in particular, PSG took out the chequebook to recruit Ramos. But the signing of the Portuguese international (4 goals in 7 caps) should not mark the end of the Paris transfer window because the Parisians want another goalscorer.
Thank you, #GonçaloRamos ❤️ #EPluribusUnum

The Randal Kolo Muani transfer saga continues, with the Frenchman asking the Eintracht Frankfurt management to let him leave. As a winger, in addition to the transfer of Ousmane Dembele, the club from the French capital hopes to recruit Bradley Barcola from rivals Olympique Lyonnais.
