Hernandez scores the winner in a much-deserved 1-0 home win over hapless Napoli
Napoli were unbeaten at San Siro in Serie A since 2014, winning their last three encounters in a row, but that tradition ended on Sunday night.
A smooth first-half link-up between Rafael Leao and Theo Hernandez was just enough for AC Milan to beat pale Napoli 1-0 and continue their excellent Serie A campaign.
monstrous performance from theo hernandez vs napoli

On the other hand, there was only a single early opportunity for the visitors, as Khvicha Kvaratskhelia rolled across from the right, only for Giovanni Simeone to fire off target from close range.
Unlike Simeone Jr, the French full-back made no mistakes in front of Pierluigi Gollini, finishing it superbly at the near post.
Leao was close to adding a second with a right-foot curler from distance, but the Portuguese forward has been struggling to return to his goal-scoring form.
From that moment on, the match declined into an evenly-matched battle in the midfield, with almost nothing worthwhile on both ends before the Partenopei had a massive double opportunity in the 89th minute.
Firstly, Jan Simic risked an own goal by deflecting the Lindstrom effort onto the upright, and then Maignan flew to palm the Politano follow-up over the bar.
However, it stayed 1-0 as the defending champions are getting as far away from their second Serie A title in a row as possible.
