The Englishman is virtually unwanted at Old Trafford, with the Red Devils unwilling to extend his contract
Manchester United are reportedly ready to move on from Jadon Sancho and are prepared to let him walk away on a free transfer this summer, effectively writing off the £73 million spent on him.
The 25-year-old winger has failed to live up to expectations since his high-profile move from Borussia Dortmund in 2021 and is currently on loan at Aston Villa. His lucrative £200,000-per-week deal is set to expire at the end of the season, and United have chosen not to activate a one-year extension that could have helped them secure a transfer fee.
🚨 SHOCK MOVE!

Manchester United have reportedly offered Aston Villa £10m just to keep Jadon Sancho far away from Old Trafford.

Sources close to the club suggest the Red Devils prefer to cut ties now rather than keep paying his wages for another season. Sancho’s spell at Villa has done little to revive his career, with the winger starting just six of their 20 Premier League matches and struggling to establish himself under Unai Emery. As a result, Villa are unlikely to trigger their option to sign him permanently.
Once seen as one of England’s brightest prospects, Sancho is now in the middle of his third underwhelming loan spell, with Villa covering most of his salary. His time at Old Trafford effectively unraveled following a public clash with former manager Erik ten Hag in 2023, when Sancho accused the Dutch coach of making him a “scapegoat” and refused to back down over a controversial social media post.
He hasn’t featured in a Premier League game for United in more than two years and has spent much of his contract period away on loan, including brief returns to Dortmund and a stint with Chelsea that also failed to spark a turnaround in form.
