Djalo's opener was cancelled out by a late equalizer by Azzeddine Ounahi
Four days after their fantastic victory at Sevilla in the Champions League, Ligue 1 holders LOSC Lille had to settle with just a point in their home game with Angers. Tiago Djalo's first-half opener was denied late on by Azzeddine Ounahi, much to the frustration of Les Dogues fans.
Defending champions were clearly tired after their midweek exploits in Europe. It's not unusual to see teams' domestic form suffer as a result of increased travelling and playing in Europe's highest-profile competition. Lille's winless Ligue 1 run was extended to four matches after an evening of frustration.

A relatively underwhelming season so far has seen reigning champions Lille fall out of contention for the Ligue 1 title early on. However, they looked well on the track to three points as two Portugueses Renato Sanches and Tiago Djalo combined to make it 1-0.
Even though they have lost more games this season than the entirety of their Ligue 1 winning campaign, much of Lille’s problems this season have come on the road. Jocelyn Gourvennec's men were unbeaten in the previous four home games, and they passed up a number of chances to double their advantage.
Despite an unconvincing display in front of goal, the Angers attack produced little to threaten a relatively comfortable Lille defence, until Ounahi netted with the visitors’ first attack of the half. There was even time for a frustrated home side to be reduced to 10-men, with goalscorer Djalo sent-off late on.

First-placed PSG will have a chance to pull away furhter when they play Girondins de Bordeaux later on Saturday.
