After an encouraging campaign last season, one that provided both valuable lessons and flashes of brilliance, the young Brewers are turning their focus to the 2025/26 Football Kenya Federation (FKF) Division II League with renewed hunger and ambition.

The team finished fifth last season, a major improvement from their ninth-place finish the previous year, and earned more than 50 points for the first time in their history.

Head coach Peter Kariuki, assisted by Paul Adera and team manager Calvin Odhiambo, is leading the charge for a stronger campaign, with promotion firmly in their sights.

“Last season was a good outing for us because we earned more than 50 points for the first time,” Kariuki said.

“The biggest win was the players’ improved understanding of the game. They now execute instructions better, read matches well, and make independent decisions on the pitch,” he told the club's media team.

Team Manager Calvin Odhiambo shared similar sentiments, praising the players’ effort and the club’s support structure.

For the first time in four years, we accumulated over 50 points and registered more wins than the previous season,” Odhiambo noted.

There were some ups and downs, but the boys gave a really good fight. I also want to thank the management for the immense support that ensured our operations ran smoothly.”

Among the standout performers last season was midfielder Stephen Kimani, who impressed in his debut year.

The 19-year-old says he has grown both as a player and as a person under the guidance of the technical bench.

I’ve developed a lot thanks to my coaches, who’ve instilled in me good values,” Kimani said. “It was a good season even though we didn’t hit all our targets, but we’ve laid the foundation for better things to come.

A major highlight for the youth setup was the promotion of three players, captain George Odhiambo, forward David Polepople, and winger Douglas Omanga, to the senior Tusker FC team.

We’re always delighted when our players make that step up,” assistant coach Adera said. “Our primary goal is development. When players graduate to the senior team or join other top-tier or second-tier sides, it motivates us to keep doing this work.
