The side has lost five matches in the first leg and are six points off leaders Vihiga Queens
Football Kenya Federation (FKF) Women’s Cup defending champions and Women Premier League (WPL) title hopefuls Ulinzi Starlets are chasing a win in their final match of the league's first leg set for Saturday 4 March.
Up against Kayole Starlets in round 11 matches, coach Joseph Mwanza says the results of the final match are important before they get back to the drawing board and restrategise for the second leg.

“We have had a tough first leg where we have posted some results that are unexpected from the squad I have but it is part of the sport. You win some and lose some. We have identified areas that need working on and adjustments in the mid-season break, but for now, the focus is on the final match of the leg," Mwanza said,
"Kayole Starlets are not to be underrated. We expect them to come hard at us so we have prepared well as we want to end the leg on a high," he added.
The military side find themselves in fifth place after ten rounds on 16 points, six off leaders and holders Vihiga Queens. Mwanza’s charges have lost five matches in the first leg, more than they have ever registered in previous seasons, and drawn once. On their debut, they lost five the entire season and once last season to finish second.
As they face a Kayole Starlets facing relegation as they are bottom of the 12-team log, winless and on the negative in points after handing three walkovers, Ulinzi are clearly the favourites.
Mwanza will, however, miss the services of forward Joy Kinglady who is serving a suspension for a straight red card. The tactician has enough depth to cover for the absence of the diminutive goal-poacher.
The other Saturday match will see Trans Nzoia Falcons take on Kisumu All Starlets.
