The game is slated for a 3 PM kick off at the Kericho Green Stadium on Saturday.

A resurgent Ulinzi Stars are bracing themselves for a fiendish clash against Posta Rangers on Saturday as they look to move further away from relegation.

The Soldiers were staring down the barrel after a wretched season but a walkover against Mathare United coupled with a 1-0 win over Bidco United last time out has handed them some breathing space.

Ulinzi Stars head coach Benjamin Nyangweso admitted that Posta will post a stern test with the side boasting of seasoned players and have adequately planned for the game.

“Posta Rangers is not an easy team, they are a good side full of experienced players. We will be playing at home and a win in our last game will be of huge motivation. We cannot approach the game thinking that they will be easy opponents, we have adequately planned for them and we are ready for the game,” said Nyangweso.

The Mailmen have posted inconsistent results having won only one of their last five matches and are coming off a 2-0 defeat at the hands of Bandari last weekend.

Ulinzi will miss the services of Harun Mwale who was sent off for time wasting in the win over Bidco United with the decision not going down well with Nyangweso.

“The referee was not right, he gave us a lot of yellow cards and a red card without a warning, I was not happy with the way the referee gave out the cards,” added Nyangweso.
