Pep Guardiola admitted he has been unable to incorporate Kalvin Phillips into the Cityzen squad. And Bild reports he could be heading to Allianz Arena

Kalvin Phillips' time at Etihad is ticking away as the 27-year-old England international has failed to impress Manchester City's boss Pep Guardiola. He moved to Manchester City from Leeds United in 2022 for almost €50m. However, his playing time has been at a minimum (Phillips has only played 70 minutes of Premier League football this season!), with the Spanish tactician opting to play Rico Lewis, 18, instead.

So, it's a no-brainer he wants to move, and according to German newspaper Bild, Phillips could join Bayern Munich in the January Transfer Window.

As per the report, the Bavarians consider him a candidate for a potential transfer. Phillips himself is also looking for a new challenge and could even leave the club on loan just to get more playing time under the tutorship of former Chelsea gaffer Thomas Tuchel.

Some rumours say that even Newcastle United could get involved, with an attempt to sign the Englishman in January.
