Japanese top tier side Vissel Kobe are anxious to see Ayub Timbe in action.
Vissel Kobe fans on Friday 19 March surprised Kenyan international Ayub Timbe with heartfelt messages as they eagerly await for him to reunite with the team.
Timbe is yet to report to Japan despite joining the side earlier this month as he cannot secure a flight to Japan due to their airspace being locked in a bid to curb the spread of Covid-19.
Kobe compiled a video from their fans who held placards with Timbe’s photo emblazoned on them along with the Kenyan flag and scarfs.
Five young footballers in a football turf hoped the winger would be devastating in front of goal, “Masika, we are waiting for you, please score lots of goals for Vissel,” said the kids.
Hey @masikaayub, the Vissel supporters are waiting for you here in Japan!????

A couple clad in the team’s home jersey were yearning to see the former Beijing Renhe midfielder in action, “Hey Masika, we hope you can come to Japan as soon as possible.”
A dad and two kids also pledged their support “Masika, we are waiting for you in Kobe, we will support you.”
Two teenagers were thirsty to see the JMJ Academy graduate excel at the club, “Masika, we are waiting for you in Japan! Hoping for your success!”
The 28-year-old signed for Kobe on the Bosman Rule after running down his contract with Chinese club Beijing Renhe following his loan stint with English Championship side Reading.
Timbe has missed five games for Kobe thus far since the start of the season with a definite date for lifting the travel restrictions still not issued.

Former KF Tirana forward Ismael Dunga, who also joined Sagan Tosu from Albanian side Vllaznia, is also suffering the same fate as Timbe as he is stuck in the country waiting for the Japan airspace to reopen.
