The Muhoroni based side, who are battling relegation, will be seeking to get a favourable result that would have implications on the title race as well.

Wazito FC are sending a stern warning to Tusker FC that it will not be easy for them when they clash in the Football Kenya Federation Premier League (FKFPL) round of 32 at Muhoroni Stadium on Sunday.

"Tusker should not come here expecting easy points," Wazito's Chief Executive Officer (CEO) Collince Dave told Mozzart Sport.

Initially scheduled for Saturday, the match was pushed back as the hosts wanted to play on the same day as Mathare United, who will be in Kakamega to face Kakamega Homeboyz FC.

The battle at Got Alila has all the ingredients of an explosive encounter. While Wazito are ensnared in a relegation dogfight with Mathare United, Tusker are eyeing the title with Gor Mahia their greatest challenger.

A win for the former moneybags, who are presently in the relegation playoffs zone at position 15, will cement their position should Mathare United lose in Kakamega, a win for the Brewers, conversely, will see them widen the gap at the top to four points, should K'Ogalo stumble against Ulinzi Stars in another crucial fixture on Sunday.

Having picked a point against Gor Mahia in a barren draw last month, derailing their title charge, Wazito feels they need to make amends by beating Tusker.

"We are going to win for ourselves and Gor Mahia. As you know Wazito and Gor Mahia share fans. We will do it for them also," Dave offered.

"The players have trained well and as office we have facilitated them to the best of our ability. I have no doubt that we're not only going to win but also survive relegation," he added.

Gor Mahia trail Tusker with a single point and have not won a match in three games.

K'Ogalo controversially lost an exhibition match dubbed Madaraka Day Cup 1-0 against Embu All Stars at Moi Stadium, Embu on Thursday.
