Ashimoto believes that he will make his Wazito debut in the near future.
Wazito FC defender Roland Ashimoto is elated with the resumption of sports in the country and has vowed to work his way up to the starting team.
The young defender has been in Wazito’s books for a year now but is yet to make a competitive appearance for the Francis Kimanzi coached side, he however understands that he will have to put an extra shift to break into the team.
“I am really happy that football is back. We had missed playing and it feels good,” he told Mozzart Sport.
Ashimoto is behind four other players in the pecking order. Bernard Odhiambo, Johnstone Omurwa, Maurice Ojwang and David Odhiambo are all ahead of him and he says that he keeps learning from them.
