In a bid to save their season, Western Stima embark on a busy transfer period to rescue their league status.
Football Kenya Federation Premier League (FKFPL) side Western Stima have unveiled four new signings in the recently opened transfer window to bolster their squad. Ugandan duo of Isaac Doka Mweru and Martin Mpuuga together with former Stima men Steven Odhiambo and Edwin 'Euro' Omondi join the club in a bid to steady the slowly sinking ship. Mpuuga joins after parting ways with Maroons FC while Isaac joins from Myda FC in Uganda. Steven and Edwin join on loan from fellow league side Wazito FC.
Euro, Steve and Castro head out on loan.

Confirming the transfer of two signings, club chairman Laban Jobita, speaking to Mozzart Sports said that a major overhaul is imminent at Western Stima.
"I can confirm we've signed Isaac and Martin from Uganda. We will be very busy in this window. We are going to sign close to ten players," he said.
Stima are currently languishing in 16th position on the table with five points having just recorded one win in the nine games they’ve played. They appeared to have taken a corner after the 2-0 win against AFC Leopards, but in the five games that would follow, the powermen only managed to collect one point from a possible fifteen.
Just a day after parting ways with Paul Ogai, the club chairman expressed his dissatisfaction with recent performances and suggested the numerous transfers are due to bad performance.
"We keep on playing and we are retaining the position that we are in. Do you think we are happy? The reason is we are not performing well and we want to improve," Jobita reiterated.
Western Stima’s season has been bleak so far, especially their backline. They have shipped in the most goals this season in the league, having allowed nineteen goals past them.
"We are looking to strengthen the midfield and the backline," Jobita said when asked about the positions his side is keen to improve in the window.
Western Stima visit Ulinzi Stars on Monday 8th February in their next fixture in Nakuru.
