What more could you want? Kolo Muani nearly ruined his own club, but Vitinha is on another level

Are you not entertained? In a wild match with eight goals in total — six of them in the second half — PSG defeated Tottenham at the Parc des Princes 5:3
PSG came into the match as the favourite, but things didn’t start smoothly. Tottenham showed real bite and even took the lead twice. Still, this was Vitinha’s night — he delivered a brilliant performance and pushed his team towards victory. In the end, after a truly beautiful match to watch, PSG won 5–3
The match opened with both sides sharing brief spells of possession, but the first genuine attempt of the evening came in the 8th minute. Spain international Fabian Ruiz tried his luck from around 20 metres, sending a low effort just wide of the Tottenham goal.

Three minutes later, in the 11th minute, Spurs threatened on the counter. Bergwijn burst down the left flank and looked to catch PSG off guard, but his final decision was poor—rather than playing the ball into the box, he sent a tame delivery straight into the hands of Chevalier.
PSG responded in the 18th minute. Khvicha Kvaratskhelia produced his second attempt of the match, cutting inside and shooting from the edge of the area in classic fashion, but his strike drifted narrowly past Vicario’s post.

Two minutes after that, in the 20th minute, the home side came extremely close to breaking the deadlock. Vitinha played a wonderful through ball to Kvaratskhelia, leaving the Georgian in a promising position, but Vicario reacted sharply to keep the score level.
Tottenham struck first in the 35th minute. After Bergwijn collected the ball, he combined brilliantly with Archie Gray, who fed the ball across to Kolo Muani. Richarlison was on the other side and just tapped the ball in almost empty net for 1-0.
But just before the interval, PSG delivered a stunning response. In the 45th minute, a cross from the left found Vitinha, who unleashed a magnificent first-time strike—clean, powerful, and perfectly placed—leaving Vicario with no chance and sending the Parc des Princes into celebration at 1–1.
The second half exploded into life almost immediately. In the 50th minute, Tottenham reclaimed the lead—this time through Randal Kolo Muani. The forward, on loan from PSG, reacted quickest when the ball deflected into his path, smashing a volley into the net to make it 2–1 for the visitors.
But Paris Saint-Germain responded without hesitation. Just three minutes later, in the 53rd minute, Vitinha once again showed his brilliance. After dancing past several Tottenham defenders with a superb piece of skill, the Portuguese midfielder fired a precise, clinical shot beyond Vicario to level the match at 2–2. A sensational solo effort.
PSG then completed the turnaround in the 59th minute. The press forced Pape Matar Sarr into a costly mistake, and Joao Neves cleverly flicked the ball with his heel into the path of Fabian Ruiz. The Spaniard calmly placed his finish past Vicario, giving PSG a 3–2 advantage and setting the tone for a wild second half.
The momentum stayed firmly with the home side. In the 65th minute, PSG extended their lead to 4–2. Following a corner and a chaotic scramble in the box, Sarr once again failed to clear his lines. The ball fell to Willian Pacho, who reacted sharply and slotted it in, doubling PSG’s cushion and sending the Parc des Princes into a frenzy.
Tottenham, however, refused to disappear. In the 72nd minute, Vitinha—otherwise brilliant all evening—misplaced a pass deep in his own half. The error allowed Kolo Muani to pounce, burst down the right side, and score his second of the match, pulling Spurs back to 4–3.
Just three minutes later, PSG had a golden opportunity to restore their two-goal lead. In the 75th minute, Vitinha struck the ball from the edge of the box, and Cristian Romero handled it inside the area. Penalty. Vitinha himself stepped up and, in keeping with his outstanding performance, converted to complete his hat-trick and make it 5–3 for PSG.
To add a pinch of salt to it all, Lucas Hernandez took care of that with an extremely foolish move, elbowing Xavi Simons. After checking the incident in the VAR room, referee Zwayer decided to show him a red card
