KCB are slated to play five games in the run towards the30th June deadline

KCB ascended to the summit of the FKF PL table with a resounding 3-0 victory over Bandari FC at Utalii Grounds on Sunday. With the 30th June deadline just over a month away and the FKF Cup beckoning, FKF PL fixtures will most likely come thick and fast.

But, who will KCB play between now and 30th June and what are the chances?

Here are KCB's next five fixtures that are likely to run until the end of June. How many points will KCB pick? Will they still be top of the table at the end of it?

Sofapaka

Still fresh from the win against Bandari, KCB will play a Sofapaka side that lost 3-0 to a Nairobi City Stars. A team that had not scored against Sofapaka since 2014.

The Bankers and Sofapaka played to a 2-all draw at Wundanyi in the first leg. Definitely, KCB will want to take all the three points in this game by capitalizing on the shaky Sofapaka side.

Bidco United

The league newbies have not been a walk in the park. They have proven that they belong where they are, in the top tier. KCB only managed a 1-0 win when the two teams met for the first time in the top flight league during the first leg encounter. Will the Zedekiah Otieno-coached side win to get maximum points in this fixture this season?

Mathare United

Mathare United thought they had KCB when they scored in the first half in their first leg encounter at Ruaraka. KCB went ahead to equalize before going for recess and came back to finish the job later in the second half. Will KCB manage to do a double over the Slum Boys?

Kakamega Homeboyz

KCB beat Kakamega Homeboyz 2-0 in Nairobi and will be seeking to replicate a similar or better performance when they visit the Kakamega-based side in June. That loss in December was the start of a poor run for Homeboyz, one that saw them go for 5 matches without a win. Kakamega Homeboyz kicked off the second leg of the league on a very high note, thrashing Western Stima 4-0.

Nzoia Sugar

Nzoia United is the only team from the five that KCB are likely to play between now and 30th June that won against them in the first leg. It was a game that saw midfield general Michael Mutinda red-carded. KCB have only lost two games with Mutinda featuring. Just how important is Mutinda to this KCB team?
