Sheffield Wednesday boss Dejphon Chansiri has sent an open letter to the Owls' faithful
Loud protests erupt as Sheffield Wednesday fans are openly against club boss Dejphon Chansiri. The blue and whites sit at the bottom of the Championship table and look set to face tough times - even though they have a billionaire in the owners' chair.
The fans are calling for the departure of the Thai businessman, who bought the Owls in 2015 from Serbian Milan Mandarić, but instead of resigning, Chansiri sent an open letter to fans. In which he opposed them and said that if they are so worried about the club, they should invest money in it!
Chansiri's letter states that from now on, due to the fan revolt, he will not invest a single pound in Sheffield Wednesday. So let's see how far, in such a state, the club will go.
"We all love Sheffield Wednesday and I am a supporter as well as the owner who must love and care for the club more than anyone else because of the position I am in as chairman. I must take responsibility for everything at the club, including the financial support which is something I always do. But from now, I will not put additional money into the club.
"If you say you are the owner and I am the custodian, then show me how to be the good owner and help save your club. You want me to leave but you want me to spend money? If you want me to leave, then show me how to run the club and invest the money before I do that.
"You have no right to ask me to leave. I am the one who saved the club and spent the money for the club, I am the one who needs to pay around £2million on average every month. Some fans need to have more respect for owners of clubs and not be so selfish, thinking of their own benefit without doing anything good to the club.
"This is not acceptable and as a result I am not willing to inject more money while I am being treated unfairly by those fans."

He added that everyone has to do everything in their power to help Sheffield in "these difficult times", and that some are doing the exact opposite and that the club has to pay fines because of them.
"Protests can't help Sheffield at all. It's a waste of time. Instead, I would like those same fans to show me how much they love the club and not harm it," said Chansiri.
