The Cape Verde goalkeeper, who became one of the tournament's breakout stars, says he is searching for the "right project" as reports link him with Colo-Colo and Inter Miami
When Vozinha arrived at the FIFA World Cup, fewer than 50,000 people followed him on social media.
By the time Cape Verde's remarkable adventure came to an end, that number had exploded to 29 million.
The charismatic goalkeeper became one of the tournament's breakout stars thanks to a string of outstanding performances that helped introduce both himself and his country to a global audience.

His World Cup journey began with a sensational display against eventual finalists Spain, earning Cape Verde a historic 0-0 draw in their first-ever meeting with La Roja on football's biggest stage.
He followed that by helping his side claim further draws against Uruguay (2-2) and Saudi Arabia (0-0), before Cape Verde were finally knocked out by another finalist, Argentina, who needed extra time to edge a thrilling 3-2 contest.
Despite his newfound fame, Vozinha insists success has not changed him.
"Fame hasn't changed me. I want to remain the same person I've always been," he told Marca.
"Before the World Cup, whenever we told people where we were from, 90 percent of them didn't know where Cape Verde was. Now everyone knows our country, and that's something very important."
Vozinha's career has taken him across several countries.
After beginning in Cape Verde, he played in Angola before returning home and later moving to Moldova with Zimbru. Spells in Portugal with Gil Vicente, Cyprus with AEL Limassol and Slovakia with Trencin followed, while he spent the last two seasons at Portuguese second-tier side Chaves.
Now, at the age of 40, the experienced shot-stopper could be preparing for one final adventure. Reports have linked him with Chilean giants Colo-Colo as well as MLS outfit Inter Miami.
With his contract expired, Vozinha admits he is open to a new challenge.
"I don't know where I'll play next. I want to keep playing for another year or two, maybe even three. I'll see how my body responds, but I'm a free agent and I'm looking for a quality project. I hope to find a good club soon."
Among the many unforgettable memories from the tournament, one stands above the rest: facing Lionel Messi.
"Messi needs no introduction. For me, he has been the best player in the world for the last 20 years. Playing against him and against Argentina was a huge honour.
"We stayed competitive until the very end and even had chances to win. It was a special moment for me and for all of Cape Verde. We showed the world that we have quality."
Whether his next destination is South America, Major League Soccer or elsewhere, one thing is certain: the World Cup transformed Vozinha from a respected veteran into one of football's most unlikely global stars.
