Pipeline, who had suffered a 3-1 defeat in Friday's opening final, responded emphatically on Saturday afternoon with a dominant 25-12, 25-21, 25-18 victory at the Kasarani Indoor Arena to level the series at 1-1.
Having entered the match knowing defeat would end their title defense, the Oilers delivered one of their best performances of the season, denying Kenya Prisons the chance to clinch their first league crown since 2021.
The reigning champions set the tone from the opening whistle, overwhelming the Wardresses with powerful attacking play and solid defending to race to a convincing 25-12 win in the first set.
Kenya Prisons attempted to mount a response in the second set, but Pipeline remained composed during the crucial moments to edge it 25-21 and move within one set of forcing a decisive third match.
With momentum firmly on their side, Geoffrey Omondi's charges maintained their intensity in the third set, closing out a deserved 25-18 victory to complete a comprehensive 3-0 triumph and send the title race into a decisive showdown.
The result marked a remarkable turnaround from Friday's defeat, when Kenya Prisons had taken the early advantage in the series with a hard-fought 3-1 victory.
In the opening match, the Wardresses edged the first set 25-23 before Pipeline responded with a dominant 25-16 win in the second to level the contest.
However, Kenya Prisons regained control by claiming a tightly contested third set 27-25 before sealing the match with another narrow 25-23 victory in the fourth set.
Head coach Josp Barasa's blend of experienced players and emerging talent, led by former Malkia Strikers captain Brackcides Agala, proved decisive as the Wardresses moved within one win of ending their four-year wait for the league title.
Pipeline, however, responded when it mattered most, ensuring the championship will now be decided in a winner-takes-all clash on Sunday morning at the Kasarani Indoor Arena.
At the time of publication, the KVF Men's National League final was still underway between KPA and Chema Juja.
