All signs point to the Brazilian not staying with the royal club — tensions have risen, and the Premier League has immediately taken notice

According to an exclusive from SPORT BILD, Real Madrid is reportedly preparing to offload the Brazilian forward next summer. His repeated controversies have become too much to handle, creating tension and distraction within the club.

The troubled star, however, is said to be eyeing a potential move to Paris Saint-Germain – though a transfer to the Premier League appears to be the more likely outcome for Vinicius Jr.

As noted by "Football Insider," both Manchester City and Chelsea are closely monitoring the situation and are seriously weighing up a move for the winger ahead of the summer window.

The reason behind the growing uncertainty lies in his strained relationship with Real Madrid manager Xabi Alonso, following the Brazilian’s emotional reaction to being substituted during El Clasico. Despite a public apology, his once “untouchable” status inside the club is said to have vanished.

Vinicius remains under contract until 2027, but talks over a renewal have been frozen for months — and now appear to be dead. That leaves the summer of 2026 as Madrid’s final chance to secure a major transfer fee for him. A switch to the Saudi Pro League is reportedly not an option, which significantly boosts the chances for top European clubs, particularly City and Chelsea, who have the financial muscle to pull off the deal.

If Vinicius were to join Manchester City, he would walk straight into Pep Guardiola’s starting lineup — left wing, first choice. That scenario would all but end Jack Grealish’s prospects at the club, with the Englishman currently out on loan at Everton.

The signing would also impact Jeremy Doku, who joined in 2023 and is still trying to cement his role on the left flank. Should Vinicius arrive, the Belgian would likely find himself pushed to the bench.

Meanwhile, Chelsea remain a serious contender. The Blues view Vinicius as a “monumental signing” capable of transforming their attack. Liverpool have also been mentioned among the interested parties, though they appear content to observe developments from the sidelines for now.
