Stay humble, no matter how far you go or what heights you reach.
That's the lesson all of us should learn, and Brentford's Michael Kayode definitely proved it after his stunning performance against Liverpool.
The Italian 21-year-old right back of Nigerian origins shone in a 3-2 victory, deservedly winning the Man of the Match award for his impressive display.
Kayode, who joined the Bees in January 2025 from Fiorentina, fought bravely against the defending champion and deserves the biggest credit for crushing Arne Slot's side at the Gtech Community Stadium.
Following the final whistle and receiving the Man of the Match award, Kayode was asked to give a speech to his teammates in the locker room. "I'll try my best because my English is not perfect," he said at the beginning before adding: "I'm so happy about that... We're doing an amazing game. I want to say thank you to everyone. Players, stuff, everyone... We have to continue like that because... I dream, I think everyone dreams. We can do an amazing season. So thank you to everyone," concluded Kayode with a smile, while the other players applauded him.
