Brandon Obiero, the Sofapaka forward not to be confused with Kariobangi Sharks' goalkeeper, has re-lived his Premier League experience since joining the club at the beginning of the campaign.

The youngster made the switch to the Premier League side from Division One club Zetech Titans Football Club and went on to make his debut in the 2-0 win over Vihiga Bullets in December last year.

In an interview with the Club's media, Obiero termed the 10 minutes of his premier league debut when he came on for Joe Waithera for the final 10 minutes of the game the best and fulfilling.

"I made my debut in December 2021 against Vihiga Bullets. The ten minutes of the match were my best. It was so fulfilling to make my premier league debut and most importantly crown the afternoon with a win on the road. I joined the club after successfully impressing during trials. I remember being on trial in the final week of the transfer window and I never imagined I would sign my first professional contract at such a top club that quickly into my career. It was really exciting and, ultimately, so fulfilling," Obiero is quoted by Sofapaka.

The forward has been used sparingly at the club, getting some minutes under his belt mostly from the bench and is hoping for more playtime after making the starting 11 in the last two matches.

Though yet to open his goal account for Batoto Ba Mungu, Obiero is hopeful that he can find his scoring boots and help the team push for their season targets.

"The top-flight league is a whole different level because of the intensity and standards. I felt the pressure in my first game but glad I have settled well in the subsequent matches. I understand one only gets better from regular playing minutes and I hope to build on the 120 minutes played so far. As a forward player, our duty is simply to score or assist goals . As a team, we have targets to achieve and I want to be part of the success story by scoring or assisting goals upfront," he added.
