…and of course - in Ibra's opinion, Il Fenomeno is the best footballer of all time
Zlatan Ibrahimovic is one of those people who you either adore or you just can't stand. It is similar with his opinions and statements.
When speaking about the activism of athletes during a wide-ranging chat with UEFA and Discovery+ in Sweden, Ibrahimovic mentioned his nickname-sake from the NBA, "The King" James, and shared his controversial opinion. LA Lakers superstar LeBron James has been actively campaigning for social justice and change in society for a number of years - with his latest initiative helping people to express their voting choices and opinions for the November presidential election in the United States.
The 36-year-old James placed his image behind fighting against police brutality and racism across a turbulent year. He features twice on the 2020 Laureus World Sport Awards shortlist, having placed his personal politics front and centre.
Zlatan Ibrahimovic uppskattar basketspelaren Lebron James men tycker inte att han ska lägga sig i politiken: "Lebron är fenomenal på det han gör, men jag gillar inte när folk med status lägger sig i politik"

'What he does is phenomenal, but I don’t like it when people with a certain "status" talk about politics,' Ibrahimovic said.
'Do what you are good at. I play football because I am the best at it. If I was a politician, I’d have gone into politics. 'This is the first mistake that famous people make when they feel like they’ve arrived. I think it’s better to steer clear of these issues and do what you’re good at.'
AC Milan striker Ibrahimovic was also quizzed about his choice for the finest player of all time. And as he said numerous times, Real Madrid and Inter Milan legend Ronaldo was his selection. Ibrahimovic is openly placing him ahead of current icons and superstars Lionel Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo.
'I always tell everyone who plays with me: Ronaldo is football. That Ronaldo is football,' he added. 'The way he moved, the way he did those step-overs, those mazy runs. In my view, he is the best player in history, no doubt about it.'
"The real Ronaldo" as many might call him, is a two-time Ballon d'Or winner who scored 296 goals in the 452 matches across his illustrious career. He also pushed his nation of Brazil to their World Cup 2002 victory.
