Internet-sensation Sam Kugelik alias Mufasa will also be in action, seeking a fourth-straight win
Kenyan welterweight Martin “Tiger” Achebi will be one of the star attractions next month, as he lines up for another test during Kalakoda Promotions’ “Nightmare in Nairobi IV” event at Masshouse, Ngong Road on Friday, 15 May.

Achebi, 25, will serve in the co-main event, when he comes up against Uganda’s Abaasi Sseguya in what is slated to be a six-round contest.
His bout will round up as his second under the Kalakoda banner, following his knockout victory over Allan Kwendo in February, at the same venue.
Boasting of an 8-1-0 record, Achebi will look to further build his credentials in the boxing ring, having already carved out an impressive career in Muay Thai, which ended up with him winning a World Boxing Council (WBC) title.
In Sseguya, Achebi, who also boasts of an 87.5 per cent knock-out record, will face a fairly decent boxer, with a 6-3-0 record, and off a second-round Technical Knockout (TKO) win over compatriot John Egesa last month.
Achebi’s fight will act as the final curtain-raiser to the main event of the evening, featuring celebrated national super welterweight champion George “King George” Onyango, who will lay claim to his first regional belt, when he takes on Tanzania’s Benjamin Mchunguzi in a fight previewed by Mozzart Sport earlier this month.
The other highlight of the night will see another decorated Kenyan boxer - Elizabeth Andiego - jump straight into the ring for her second fight in slightly more than a month, coming up against Tanzania’s Charles Mdemu in a super middleweight contest.
Andiego, who made her awaited professional debut with a comfortable win over Tanzania’s Sabrina Mbwewe on 27 March, will aim to remain perfect, even as she seeks to achieve as much success as she did as an amateur.
Mdemu, 31, comes in with a 1-0-1 record, and last fought in December last year.
Also on the card from a Kenyan perspective will be internet-sensation and super middleweight boxer Sam Kugeluk alias Mufasa, who will face countrymate Otieno Owenge in his Kalakoda debut.
Kugeluk, fighting in the undercard, will inarguably attract eyeballs, even as he seeks to extend his hot streak of three straight wins.
The Kenyan duo of bantam-weight Abdi Beshir (6-0-0) and welterweight Brian Marvin Achola (4-0-0), will also look to endear themselves to a wider audience in the early bouts, when they come against Tanzania’s Nassoro Kilewa and Allen Mlati respectively.
Control the chaos 🥊🔥
