From Nairobi Club, over and out for Day 2. Kenya have now won their opening two games and face Namibia on Wednesday.
Well that was a perfect day for the hosts. It started with Alicia Owegi showing incredible character to come from behind in winning her match.
Okutoyi then easily breezed past her opponet before, alongside her sister getting the job done in the Doubles.
Twin sisters Angella Okutoyi and Roselida Asumwa beat Chelsea Chakanyuka and Kelebogile Monnayoo 6-2, 6-4 to complete the 3-0 victory for Kenya.

Kenya get another break in the match and complete the clean sweep after taking the second set 6-2.
Asumwa holds her nerves and saves two break points to keep Kenya in the lead at 3-1.
Some nerves on court here as Botswana create two break points to send some shivers down Kenya's spine.
Set 2 sees Kenya pick right where they left as they hold serve and break in the second game for a 2-0 lead.
Twin sisters break again in the seventh game to take the first set 6-1.
Botswana finally get themselves on the board as they hold serve in the fourth game to make it 3-1.
Scratch that. They do not hesitate as they take the first of the three to go 2-0 ahead.
The twin sisters start strongly and have already created three break points in the second game after holding onto their serve. Will they take the opportunity?

Okutoyi will return to court and will team up with her twin sister Roselida Asumwa. This will be Asumwa's first match as Cynthia Wanjala played the Doubles match on Monday.
With that, Kenya confirm a 2-0 victory over Botswana and head into the Doubles for bonuses.
For a second time in the set, Okutoyi breaks again to seal the 6-2 win in the set and the 6-1, 6-2 victory in the match after just 53 minutes

The next four games sees both players holding onto their serves for 5-2 lead.
Okutoyi rides on her momentum and breaks once to take a 3-0 lead in a flash after holding onto her serve on either side of the break.
Doesn't feel like we will be here for too long now. Okutoyi is in fine form and just doesn't look like stopping soon. Chelsea on the other hand just can't get the answers to Okutoyi's powerful and accurate hitting.

Chelsea manages to get on the the board as she holds serve during the third game but that is all she gets as Okutoyi holds onto her serve and breaks two more times to take the opening set 6-1.
She comfortably holds onto her serve with some powerful hitting as she goes 2-0 ahead.
The Wimbledon champion makes her intention well known as she breaks during Chelsea's first service game in the first set to take a 1-0 lead.

How she managed to arrest the slump and got back into the game is quite something!

She's done it! after 2hours and 45 minutes of pain and sweat, Owegi breaks on Cheludo's serve to take the third set 6-2 and wrap up the 4-6, 6-4, 6-2 victory for Kenya who get the advantage.
Nerves get to Alicia as she fails to close out the match allowing Cheludo to break back at 5-2.
After holding serve, she breaks again to take a 5-1 lead. Serving for the match.
But against all odds, Owegi gets the crucial break as she strikes to go 3-1 ahead despite struggling a little bit.
The Kenyan girl showing clear signs of discomfort here as she seems to be struggling with her movement.
Owegi goes down with cramp and needs some medical attention as the umpire calls for the physio.
In a set that seemed not to be going her way, Owegi managed to come from behind on numerous occasions to force a deciding third set against a very calm Cheludo after clinching the second set 6-4.

Leungo breaks Alicia's serve once again to and holds her serve to take the opening set 4-6. Advantage Botswana going into the second set.
But the 19 year old from Alabama university lost her momentum and allowed Leungo to get back into the game, which the Botswana girl gladly did as she took the next three games to draw level at 3-3.
Alicia made quite the start as she broke in between holding her serves in the opening game and the third game of the opening set as she led 3-0.
