What a finish at the "United Center" and a victory for Chicago 119:117!

Maybe we will never see a crazier finish than this one between the Chicago Bulls and the Los Angeles Lakers. The visitors from California had everything in their hands, leading by a secure five-point margin with just 13 seconds left, but then something unbelievable happened.

First, Patrick Williams hit a three-pointer after a timeout. Then, LeBron James made a rookie mistake, allowing Coby White to drain a three-pointer, giving the home team a one-point lead. J.J. Redick called a timeout, drew up a great play, and the ball ended up in Austin Reaves' hands. He drove inside and laid it in with four seconds left, putting the Lakers back in front by one.

Josh Giddey inbounded the ball, quickly got it back from Williams, and then, from half-court, rose for a last-second shot—draining a buzzer-beating three-pointer to send the "United Center" into complete chaos and secure Chicago’s stunning 119-117 victory. Absolutely unreal.

And nothing pointed to such an ending. Chicago played well, but it seemed like Luka Doncic and LeBron James were on their way to securing the win for the Lakers. The visitors led by one at halftime, then dominated the third quarter 32-17, entering the final period with a comfortable 16-point lead.

It looked like everything was decided, and the Bulls wouldn’t even put up a fight to get back in the game. But that wasn’t the case. Step by step, they chipped away at the lead, eventually erasing it, and then, in an absolutely surreal fashion, broke the Lakers' hearts. Chicago poured in 44 points in the final 12 minutes, raining threes, especially in the closing moments of the game. The Lakers had no idea what hit them, and once the Bulls’ comeback became real, the crowd erupted, pushing them toward an incredible turnaround.

As for individual performances—if they even matter after such a finish—Giddey was the standout player with a triple-double of 25 points, 14 rebounds, and 11 assists. White scored 26, while Kevin Huerter contributed 21. On the other side, Reaves shined with 30 points, Doncic added 25 with 10 rebounds, and LeBron finished with 17 points and 12 assists.
