Handball: Super Cup pairings out ushering the 2024/25 season

The competition starts on 3 August and concludes on 11 August
Kenya Handball Federation (KHF) pre-season tournament, the Super Cup, is upon us, signalling the start of a new season to the ever-exciting handball league.
The Super Cup pits the top six men's teams against each other with two groups of three playing a round-Robin group stage. The top two play in the semis. The women's Cup.matches are played in a round-robin format.
Set to throw off on 3 August, this year's Cup has men's league champions National Cereals and Produce Board (NCPB) men headlining pool A that also has Equity Bank HC and Strathmore University.
Pool B is headlined by Cup defending champions Ulinzi HC who lost out on the 2024 title on the last day to the millers. They compete against General Service Unit (GSU) and Black Mamba in the group stage.
In the Women’s category, league champions Ulinzi Sharks will hope to get their hands on the Cup title as well. Their toughest opposition remains perennial winners and holders Nairobi Water. NCPB Women and Rangers Women complete the roster.
