Kenya Volleyball Federation (KVF) officially named a strong national squad that is under coaches Patrick Owino and Sila Makiso, with the aim of returning the women's side to the global stage while the men chase a first appearance.
In January, Adhiambo went back to Greece, signing with top-tier side Aris Thessaloniki after a four-month stay with five-time Israeli league and cup champions Hapoel Kfar Saba.
Her international experience will be key for the Kenyan women's side as the country looks to make a return to the Summer Games following Gaudencia Makokha and Brackcides Agala's debut in Paris.
Meanwhile, the men's side has also named a relatively new squad with General Service Unit's Naphtali Chumba as the most experienced player in the squad.
KVF has expressed confidence in the squads’ readiness, noting that the athletes have demonstrated strong form, discipline, and commitment during preparations.
