The Spaniard confirmed that he is starting his season at Brisbane
Rafael Nadal confirmed - he is returning to the court in Australia, and the first tournament he will play in will be in Brisbane, in the ATP 250 category.
In an emotional speech in front of the camera, in which he confirmed that he will run on the field again at the beginning of next year, he said that he does not have high expectations for 2024.
"I don't know at what level I will return, I don't even know what to expect. I have no idea, but I don't care anymore. I'm just happy to be back, with the greatest enthusiasm to make the necessary effort to have fun and be competitive on the court," said Nadal.
And continued in that tone.
"I have had a few good weeks of training, which allow me to believe that I will be competitive. I have gone through many stages during my recovery, but today I can announce that I will be playing in a tournament that I have participated in before, which I know well, and which I know will have strong rivals. I believe that I will prepare well. I aspire to nothing more than to be competitive on the court," underlined Nadal.
