Jamal Murray, who was questionable due to illness ahead of Thursday night's game, led Denver to victory with 25 points, eight rebounds, and seven assists. Nikola Jokic added 29 points, 14 rebounds and eight assists.
However, Julian Strawther was an X-factor off the bench, scoring 15 points from the bench, including two critical 3-pointers. On the other hand, Shai Gilgeous-Alexander notched 32 points and six assists, while Chet Holmgren recorded 19 points and 11 rebounds, but that was just not enough.
Game 7 is scheduled for Sunday night (10.30 pm) in Oklahoma City.
"Guys looked more happy to have two days off than to be going to a Game 7," Denver coach David Adelman said.
