B. OdhiamboSchool Games : Musingu, Shanderema to clash in Western Region Secondary School Sports Association final

It will be an all - Kakamega county affair when county champions Musingu and Shanderema Secondary Schools clash in the Western Region Secondary School Sports Association boys soccer final at Bukhungu Stadium.
The two sides will lock horns in a what will be a repeat of Kakamega county school games final held at Bukhungu two weeks ago .
Shanderema will be determined to avenge against a side that staged a comeback to deny them the county gong whereas Musingu will be looking to stamp authority in Western football.
Under the tutelage of Kevin Asuba ,Shanderema stormed in the final after emerging top of pool A edging out Vihiga county minnows Emusire High School ,John Osogo of Busia and Lukhuna from Bungoma County .

Mark Shaban was again on target twice propelling his team against John Osogo before hitting a powerful header in the semi finals to book a spot in the regionals finals .
Brenden Mwinamo's Musingu , were the winners of Pool B over powering Vihiga High , Kibabii and Busia representatives Bujumba before whitewashing Lukhuna 4-0 in the semi finals.
Speaking after the semis , Mwinamo a national champion with Kakamega High School,was buzzing with confident his troops will dismantle Shanderema and book a ticket to the nationals set for Kakamega later next month .
"I'm happy the boys have done it , meeting Shanderema again in the finals is tough but it is a side we know better and players even know each other in person ,it must be a tough one but I can assure everyone of a one," he said.
On his side ,Asuba who was an assistant to Mwainamo during their triumph with Green Commandos ,was full of kind words and praise for his team as he promised to deliver the coveted regional gong .
"Congratulations to Musingu and Shanderema , my boys really stuck to plan despite few elapses in the first half ,I'm super proud of this group and I expect them to thrash Musingu, " he offered.
In the girls category, Red Commandos of Butere Girls' shocked former champions Arch Bishop Njenga two goals to nil to set up a final against Vihiga county's Madira Girls who edged out Brenda Girls 5-4 on post match penalties after playing out a barren draw in regular time .
The final will curtain rise the boys showpiece at Bukhungu Stadium starting at 11.00 am EAT
RIFT VALLEY
Solidarity Boys conceded the first goal of the tournament since the zonal levels as they humbled Kabarnet Boys four goals to one to reach the Rift Valley secondary School Sports Association finals.
The six time National Champions got their goals courtesy of Stanley Waswa ,Jospeh Omuse ,Aldrine Kibet and Erick Baraza to set a final aganist tricky Christ the King .
In the girls category , Nasokol will battle out for the national ticket against defending champions Wiyeta Girls .
