An impressive 180 junior golfers have registered to compete in this eagerly-awaited finale, where championship points will be doubled, raising the stakes and intensifying the battle for top honours across all age divisions.
Since the tour’s start, Kenya’s rising golf stars have showcased their talent at some of the country’s most iconic courses, including Limuru, Karen, Sigona, Windsor, Thika Sports, and Royal Nairobi, culminating in what promises to be an electrifying showdown at Muthaiga.
“The competition this season has been exceptional, and we expect a sensational finish at Muthaiga,” said Vincent Mukiri, president of the Junior Golf Foundation.
“The growth of junior golf in Kenya is phenomenal, and it’s a joy to see so many young players pushing each other to new heights.
This tour reflects the spirit of our Get Into Golf Initiative, opening access, nurturing talent, and giving our youth a global stage to dream bigger.”
Throughout the tour, players have competed for Priority Status points, which determine their eligibility for coveted international events like the U.S. Kids Golf World Championship at Pinehurst, USA, from Thursday, 31 July to Saturday, 2 August, and the NCBA Kenya Invitational set for Saturday, 20 to Monday, 22 December.
With razor-thin margins in several age categories, including Boys 8, Boys 10, Boys 12, Girls 8 & under, and Girls 13–14, spectators can expect nail-biting finishes as players chase not only trophies but also a pathway to international recognition.
The NCBA U.S. Kids Golf Tour will take a break after Muthaiga and resume in August in Nairobi and September in Mombasa, as the Junior Golf Foundation continues to drive access, inclusion, and excellence through the game of golf.
