Confident Oluche revved up for Rugby Africa Women’s Cup

The tournament will kick off from 25 October to 2 November in Uganda
The women’s national rugby 15s side, Kenya Lionesses flyhalf Sarah Oluche has reiterated confidence in the team performing well at the upcoming 2022 Rugby Africa Women’s Cup.
The tournament which will be making a comeback after a two-year hiatus due to the Covid-19 pandemic will kick off from 25 October to 2 November in Uganda.
Oluche who turns out for reigning Women Kenya Cup champions Mwamba RFC exuded confidence that the team will put their best foot forward in the tournament.
“Training has been good, the girls have been gelling very well. So far, so good. We are positive, we are putting in so much hard work. We are ready for all the teams that we will be playing in the pool,” said Oluche.
Kenya are in Pool B alongside Uganda and Zambia with the winner of the pool set to be promoted to Pool A.
The Lionesses will face Zambia and hosts Uganda in the three tournament that will be played on a round robin format.
They will start their campaign with a clash against Zambia on Saturday 29 October before taking on hosts Uganda on Wednesday 2 November.
Kenya’s squad for the tournament is expected to be announced in the coming week after the side went through a non-residential training under the tutelage of former Kenya Sevens international Dennis Mwanja.
