Odera revealed that Nondescripts RFC prop Ian Njenga will be sidelined for up to six months with Andrew Siminyu, Darwin Mukidza, and Jone Kubu likely to miss out on the match against Griffons.
“We have lost a number of players through injury, Ian Njenga is out for the next five to six months, Andrew Siminyu is also a doubt with an ankle injury, we are looking at niggles with Darwin Mukidza who is struggling with a wrist injury.
Jone Kubu has taken a battering through the season and through most of the games and we are looking to see if we can rest him, we are observing a few other players to see who is struggling with injuries, John Nyambua is suffering from a heel injury,” said Odera.
Simbas have lost back-to-back games in the Currie Cup after suffering a 51-14 thumping at the hands of Valke and came close in the second outing losing 21-20 to Zimbabwe.

Odera revealed that he is set to tinker with his squad to hand every player a chance in the competition as he acknowledged the tough task at hand ahead of the Griffons clash who have won all their games this season.
“We are looking to rotate the squad so that we can give everyone an opportunity and show us what they can do.
We are going to play with a team right at the top of the table in Griffons and it's for the players to regroup and get back to training and see how we can play,” added Odera.
