The former AC Milan, Barcelona, Chelsea, and Arsenal player is reportedly close to joining the newly-promoted Turkish Super Lig club, Corum
Sensational news is coming from Turkey!
According to several renowned journalists from this country, Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang could soon join the growing list of stars playing in the Turkish Super Lig.
However, unlike high-profile names like Victor Osimhen, Leroy Sane, N'Golo Kante, Marco Asensio, Nathan Ake, Wilfred Ndidi, Andre Onana, who all play for one of Turkey's traditional powerhouses (Galatasaray, Fenerbahce, Besiktas, Trabzonspor), the Gabon international is on the verge of a shock move to the little-known club, Corum!
If Corum signing Aubameyang is true then it’s a huge huge huge huge signing!! What a pull! https://t.co/f1RPj7xNqz

Even though the new Olympique Marseille boss, Bruno Genesio, is reportedly keen on keeping the experienced striker, sources from Turkey claim Auba has already reached an agreement with Corum, with only club-to-club negotiations between Corum and the French giants standing in the way of this surprising move being completed.
Founded just 29 years ago, the popular Red Lightnings earned promotion to the Turkish Super Lig for the first time in their history, and now, the ambitions of their wealthy owners are sky-high, as their pursuit of Aubameyang clearly demonstrates.
And while Corum's point of view is clear and understandable - a marquee signing would definitely add prestige to the club - the striker's choice of destination is certainly unexpected.
After all, a player of his stature, who scored 10 Ligue 1 and three Champions League goals at 37 last season and represented the likes of European giants like AC Milan, Borussia Dortmund, Arsenal, Barcelona, and Chelsea, could undoubtedly have landed at a - no offense, Corum - more prestigious club.
This way, if his move to Turkey goes through in the near future, it will certainly be one of the most surprising deals in this year's June Transfer Window.
