The pacy winger recorded a short video after jetting into the Asian country as he was anxious to hit the ground running in the Japanese J.League 1.
“Hey guys, I've finally arrived. I am happy to be here, can't wait to start this challenge and to get a good season, see you guys,” said an exhilarated Timbe.
His move was delayed by travel restrictions improved by the Japanese government to curb the spread of Covid-19 that rendered their airspace closed for weeks.
