Behind every Mourinho's smile, there is Bale's excellence

Tottenham win the all-London derby against Crystal Palace (4-1) thanks to unplayable Welshman
Jose Mourinho has a million faces, but you can't see him smiling very often. Tonight, however, he smiled a lot, and the credit for that mostly goes to Gareth Bale, who scored a brace and definitely proved he is "back in business", like in the good old days. It's been a frustrating couple of months for the Welshman on loan from Real Madrid, but it's a completely different ball game for him in the last few weeks. What happened exactly in the meantime, knows only Mourinho. And, of course, Bale himself, but whatever the formula is - they should stick to it as long as possible.
Then we'll see the Spurs capable of much better results than the current 6th place on the table, and even that is a vast improvement since early February. The 'old Tottenham' could hardly cut through Palace's defence, but Mourinho's offensive line - Moura, Kane, Son, Bale - enjoyed every single minute on the pitch tonight.
The home team opened the game perfectly. After Son's solid header, Lucas Moura took the ball from Palace's skipper Luka Milivojevic in the danger-zone, passed it to Harry Kane, who's solutions range from excellent to perfect. With that said, it's no wonder his well-executed cross found unmarked Bale on the far post, and it was 1-0 for the Spurs.
Mourinho's slot continued with its highly-offensive setup, producing a couple of chances more in the next 20 minutes, but every time they lacked calmness and concentration in Crystal Palace's box. What they struggled with, Roy Hodgson's outfit knew how to solve. Milivojevic decided to make up for his terrible error and launched an accurate cross from the left, straight to Christian Benteke in the middle of Lloris' box. The Belgium striker told Mozzart Sport Kenya that he still enjoys goal celebrations like the first day, and he proved that after a sky-high header that ended behind Lloris' back.
Unfortunately for Benteke, Bale and Kane were determined to ruin the day for him. And did everything in their power to kill the game before the last 30 minutes. Firstly, Bale struck after a masterpiece action four minutes into the second half. He begun the build-up, followed the ball and fluid passes of teammates to deliver a sharp header for 2-1. Enjoy every second watching this wonderful team-effort...
After Bale's two, it was time for unplayable Kane to show what he is made of. The whole camaraderie of the world's greatest keepers couldn't save that strike of his, coming only three minutes after the goal for the lead. It was poetry in motion, and the visitors were, definitely, hopeless from that moment on.
After another patient Tottenham's move coming straight from the playbook, the final execution happened 14 minutes before the end. It was another slow build-up, but, hey, exactly ten passes later, Kane was left totally unmarked on the edge of the six-yard box and onside, for an easy, final score, 4-1.
