Borussia is without two key players against Wolfsburg

Hoffenheim is without a defeat in 2026. In fact, they are on a five-game winning streak and are travelling to Munich on Sunday. With another injury to his name, he is in serious personal trouble. Can is currently 31 years old, with a contract expiring in May and an injury record.

The second blow is the team’s most valuable offensive player – Karim Adeyemi. Although his absence is still not confirmed, the various German newspapers have already reported that he finished the training session but wasn’t in the team bus, which headed to Wolfsburg. So far this season, Adeyemi has amassed eleven scorer points in 28 competitive matches and Kovač will have to find ways to get on the scoreboard without him.
