The highly anticipated event is expected to bring together key figures in Kenyan football as the league celebrates excellence from the first full season under the current setup.
After the awards failed to take place during the 2024/25 season, organisers are now planning a major comeback with more than 15 categories set to be contested.
The gala is tentatively scheduled for Thursday, 4 June, just days after the end of the league season and ahead of the 2026 FIFA World Cup.
Attention is already shifting to some of the tightly contested categories. The Player of the Season award is expected to spark a huge debate following several outstanding individual performances across the campaign.
In the race for Coach of the Season, Gor Mahia tactician Charles Akonnor and AFC Leopards head coach Fred Ambani are among the leading contenders as both clubs remain firmly in the title hunt.
The Golden Boot race is also expected to go down to the wire with Murang'a Seal striker Joe Waithira and Ulinzi Stars forward Paul Okoth battling for the top scorer’s accolade.
Meanwhile, Shabana FC goalkeeper Steve Ochieng appears destined for the Golden Glove award after an impressive return of 15 clean sheets this season.
The Best Young Player category is equally stacked, with Humphrey Aroko, Kevin Wangaya, Bryton Anyona, and Daniel Ogembo all emerging as strong contenders after breakthrough campaigns.
Beyond performances on the pitch, the awards will also recognise individuals who have played key roles behind the scenes, including referees, assistant referees, journalists, team managers, and supporters.
One of the most eagerly awaited categories is the Best Fan Award, following a season that has witnessed massive supporter turnout and vibrant atmospheres at match venues across the country.
