The Brewers managed to turn around their flailing season after clinching the Mozzart Bet Cup, an outstanding feat that ended their 10-year wait for the prestigious cup title.
Following their triumph, the 12-time FKF Premier League champions have now announced that their gala night will take place on Thursday, 2 July, at a location to be announced soon.
The date, which was confirmed by Tusker on their official website, will see the club award various top performers throughout the season, including their Most Valuable Player (MVP).
The club will also issue awards to the Defender of the Season, Midfielder of the Season, and Goalkeeper of the Season.
As for the Golden Boot accolade, Harambee Stars striker Erick Kapaito is assured of the award even before the gala, as he completed the season as the team’s leading scorer across all competitions with eight goals and two assists.
“The ceremony will serve as a fitting celebration of the resilience and commitment shown throughout a demanding campaign, while also setting the tone for an ambitious new season,” reads part of the post by Tusker on their website.
The Brewers endured a difficult campaign in the league, which saw them part ways with coach Charles Okere mid-season, with French tactician Julien Mette trusted with the reins, as Harambee Stars assistant coach Anthony Kimani also joined the club in the same capacity.
Despite the technical bench changes, Tusker went ahead to finish the league in a disappointing ninth position - the lowest in over a decade.
However, Mette switched attention to the Mozzart Bet Cup, where the club went on to lift the trophy in a glamorous ceremony after edging 2024 champions Kenya Police FC 2-1 courtesy of a brace by Ian Siniyu on Sunday, 14 June at Kwale Stadium.
Tusker will now be preparing to represent Kenya in the CAF Confederation Cup (CAF CC).
