For the second time in their last three outings, K’Ogalo had to dig deep, with two of those matches ending in comeback victories, a run that now adds serious pressure on arch-rivals AFC Leopards in the tight title race.
Paul Ochuoga’s 97th-minute strike sealed all three points after Bidco United had taken a first-half lead through Brian Mboya. Emmanuel Assifuah levelled matters in the second half before Gor’s late winner sent Kasarani into a frenzy.
Heading into the match, Gor sat top of the table with 33 points, level with Leopards and separated only by goal difference, making the encounter a must-win for both momentum and bragging rights.
Bidco adopted a compact, low-block approach early on, allowing Gor to dominate possession while looking to strike on the counter. The tactic worked well in the opening stages, neutralising Gor’s attack for the first 20 minutes.
As confidence grew, the Oilers began to venture forward and were rewarded in the 26th minute when Tomas Wainaina’s pinpoint cross was met by Brian Odoo Mboya, whose header beat Bryne Omondi to give Bidco the lead.

Bidco held firm until the break despite sustained pressure from Gor Mahia, who struggled to find a breakthrough before halftime.
Protecting their advantage, Bidco dropped deeper in the second half, conceding possession as Gor pushed numbers forward.
The hosts looked dangerous down the right flank through Ochuoga and Shariff Musa, but the final ball continued to let them down.
Head coach Jonathan Akonnor made a bold double change in the 50th minute, introducing Assifuah and the returning Frank Odhiambo to inject pace and aggression into the attack.
The move paid off in the 63rd minute when Assifuah received a pass from compatriot Ebenezer Adukwaw, turned Idris Amadi inside out, and fired a powerful shot past Issa Omuria to restore parity.
Gor Mahia intensified their push for a winner, creating half chances through Musa and Jackson Dwang, but Omuria stood firm in the Bidco goal.
Further attacking intent followed in the 78th minute with the introduction of Samwel Kapen and Patrick Esombe.

Kapen nearly completed the turnaround in the 85th minute, only for Omuria to deflect his header wide. Moments later, Frank Odhiambo thought he had scored from a corner, but the referee ruled out the effort for a foul in the build-up.
With the match seemingly headed for a draw, Ochuoga picked up the ball on the right side of the box in the 97th minute and squeezed his shot past Omuria to snatch a priceless victory.
The win lifts Gor Mahia to 36 points, opening a three-point gap at the top and piling pressure on AFC Leopards, while Bidco United drop into the relegation zone on 15 points.
In the day’s other fixture, Posta Rangers and Mathare United played out a 1-1 draw at the Kasarani Annex. Faustine Ojiambo gave Posta the lead in the 29th minute before Brian “Rio” Ochieng equalised for Mathare in the 72nd minute.
