Already dubbed ‘kings of draws’, Osborne Monday’s side played into that tag yet again, as they needed a second-half strike from Joe Waithira to make it six draws in their 12 games played so far this season.

The visitors, who were returning back to action for the first time since drawing with Kariobangi Sharks on 30 November, looked in early trouble when Michael Karamor gave Naibois the lead inside nine minutes.

The goal came from a piece of route-one football, with reinstated goalkeeper Ernest Mohammed playing in Ochieng Ovella to find Karamor for an easy finish.

But just like in two other 1-1 draws this season, Murang’a Seal battled back, and found a deserved equalizer when Waithira was played on by Tony Musa to finish off his left boot in the 51st minute.

Both sides, after that, struggled to take hold of the tie, with rainy conditions in the second half making it harder to move the ball around.

The away point for Seal took them a place over Sofapaka to 16th, while Nairobi United, without a win since early November, dropped to 12th with 13 points.

Elsewhere at Kasarani main Stadium, Bidco United endured another game without a goal as they settled for a barren draw with Mathare United.

Bidco, who last scored in a 3-2 loss to Kenya Police on 26 November, made it three games on the bounce without a goal, reigniting earlier concerns from coach Anthony Akhulia, whose side had gone four games without scoring prior to the game with the law enforcers.

The point saw them go a place up to 11th, while Mathare United jumped into the top half in ninth.

At Kericho’s Green Stadium, Collins ‘Korea’ Omondi's hot-start as Posta Rangers interim coach was checked as his side drew blanks in a barren draw with APS Bomet.

Omondi, who had seen his reign begin with back-to-back wins over Bidco and Nairobi United, dropped his first points since taking charge of the Mailmen on 28 November.

The point took Posta joint top on 20 points, but fourth with their -1 goal difference.

Bomet, on the other hand, climbed from the relegation places to 14th, with a total of 13 points.
