Alexandre Lacazette 'will take a few days to think' about his future and a possible Lyon departure
Where to now?
The 2023-24 season ended last night for Alexandre Lacazette and his Olympique Lyon, as they congratulated Paris Saint-Germain on a deserved 2-1 victory in the Coupe de France showdown.
The 33-year-old OL captain, who spent five years with Arsenal between two Lyon spells, talked to the French media after the loss to PSG. He hinted a bit about his future, although it's still unclear where the road will take him.
His contract at the Groupama Stadium is set to expire in June 2025. However, a couple of Saudi Pro League sides have already shown an interest in signing him, according to RMC Sport.
Commenting on his future at Lyon, Lacazette said:
"The possibility of departure? That's not the point here. We'll wait a few days, concentrate. There is no 'I'm leaving or I'm going to stay'. I'm thinking about the final. Afterwards, I'll take a few days to think about all that."
